Note: In An Tir a subdivision of the SCA, one may wear a jewel circlette after receiving their title of Award of Arms (AOA). The title of Lady was given to Christiana, however this is an SCA title. In changing over to the Adrian Empire, her status changed to a common member, which is not entitle to wear a jewel circlette or and 1 inch wide head band of metal. On must be the owner of a household and the household must be recognized by the royals and royal representatives of the Adrian Empire before one can obtain the status of Lord or Lady and to be allow to wear a circlette.
The description below was when Christiana and Lord Kasper recieved their AOA from the Principality of Tir Righ (SCA) in August 2009.
After Lady Christiana received her status as Lady from an award known as award of arms, she did some research and played with some pieces of metal and castings to create the band. She also made a plain band for my ladies Esther and Meredith, and another identical band for Lord Kasper in May of 2010. The band is gold plated over brass, and the castngs are silver pewter with one center stone mounted to the band. To prevent the band from leaving a green oxide on Lady Christiana, a band of velvet was place inside. Note: one must earn the award of arms form the Kingdom of An Tir, (SCA) a group that Lady Christiana use to be a member of from Jan 2012. The band has no points and is under one inch in width.
